Job Summary:
To manage the daily operations of a stationery retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, strong sales performance, effective stock control, and overall store profitability.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Diploma/Degree in Retail Management, Business, or related field (advantageous)
- 3–5 years’ experience in retail management (stationery or FMCG preferred).
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and merchandising.
- Proven sales and team management experience.
- Experience in stock control and inventory systems.
- Computer literacy (POS systems, MS Office).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends.
- Retail store environment.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Weekend and public holiday work required.
- Fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth running of the store.
- Drive sales performance and achieve targets.
- Supervise, train, and motivate store staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer queries.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control.
- Implement merchandising standards and promotions.
- Monitor store performance and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and visual appeal.
- Handle cash management and daily reconciliations.
- Resolve operational issues and improve store efficiency.
