Job Summary:
To drive corporate sales growth within the construction sector by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and managing the preparation and submission of tender documents. The role focuses on securing contracts through effective tender participation and delivering tailored construction-related solutions to corporate clients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12); a qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in corporate sales within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in preparing and submitting tender documents.
- Good understanding of construction procurement processes and tender procedures.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, consulting engineers, and corporate clients.
- Monitor tender bulletins, procurement portals, and industry platforms for relevant tender opportunities.
- Prepare, compile, and submit complete tender documentation in accordance with tender specifications and submission deadlines.
- Ensure all required documentation is included in tender submissions (pricing schedules, compliance certificates, company profiles, technical documentation, etc.).
- Liaise with internal departments to obtain required information for tender submissions.
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.
- Follow up on tender submissions, quotations, and sales leads to secure contracts.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, tenders submitted, and client interactions.
- Provide product or service information and technical support to clients where required.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies within the construction sector.
- Ensure excellent after-sales service and client satisfaction.
