Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Sales Consultant to assist customers in selecting products and services that meet their needs. The successful candidate will develop new business, prepare quotations and follow up with customers to secure orders and meet sales targets.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Drivers license with own reliable vehicle.
- 3-5 years previous experience in sales or customer service.
- Ability to explain product features, pricing and options clearly.
- Good listening, communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage customer enquiries, prioritise follow-ups and work towards sales targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify prospective customers and contact them to discuss their needs.
- Ask questions about each customer’s requirements and budget before recommending suitable options.
- Prepare accurate quotations, answer questions and follow up on purchasing decisions.
- Negotiate prices and terms within company guidelines.
- Confirm orders and coordinate with internal teams on availability and delivery.
- Follow up after each sale, resolve customer queries and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Keep customer and sales records up to date and report progress against agreed targets.
